Naturalization
1 .- Reception and processing of applications for naturalization as the 1st ordinal Article 33 (Foreign nationals with more than 5 years nationality country with English, Portuguese, Italian, Latin American or Caribbean, and 10 years for the other nationalities).
Foreign nationals who obtain a certificate of naturalization. To this end, shall be domiciled in Venezuela with uninterrupted residence of at least ten years immediately preceding the date of the respective application.
The residence time was reduced to five years in the case of men and women who has the nationality originally from Spain, Portugal, Italy, Latin America and the Caribbean.
Requirements:
1. Personally submit notarized declaration of intent, for to the Identification and Immigration Office. The format is downloaded from the website of the Onidex.
2. Valid passport with the appropriate visa.
3. Photocopy of identity card, valid.
4. Have proof of lawful means of life (work record, Register, letter of support, if self-employed, must establish a balance guaranteed by a chartered accountant.)
5. Current proof of residence issued by the competent authority.
6. Two (2) photos from the front, passport size.
7. Fiscal stamps of 15

2 .- Reception and processing of applications for naturalization under article 33 ordinal 2nd (foreign citizens married to a Venezuelan with a minimum of 5 years).
Foreigners who marry a Venezuelan from declaring their willingness to be, passed by at least 5 years from the date of marriage.
Requirements:
1. Personally submit notarized declaration of intent with the Office of Identification and Immigration. Model Declaration of Intent is downloaded from the website of the Onidex.
2. Two (2) head-size photos card.
3. Original marriage certificate and photocopy.
4. If the marriage took place abroad, a certified copy of the game issued by the foreign authority, apostille or legalized by the Venezuelan consular representation, or Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
5. If the marriage is not written in Castilian language interpreter must be translated by the public.
6. Every marriage certificate with the aforementioned characteristics should be inserted before the marriage registration book of the first civil authority of the parish or municipality of the domicile of the spouses.
7. Passport and Visa regulations.
8. Copy of identity card of the spouse with the status updated.
9. Proof of Residency. (Prefecture, registrar or district).
10. Lawful means of life (Proof of employment or Register).
11. Fiscal stamps canceled in accordance with the tax unit caused at the time of application.
12. Presence of either spouse, when introducing the application.

3 .- Reception and processing of applications for naturalization according to Article 33 of the 3rd ordinal (Boys, Girls and foreign teenagers to the date of the naturalization of a parent)
Article 33 paragraph 3: "Foreign nationals minors to the date of naturalization of father or mother who exercises parental authority, if declared their willingness to be Venezuelan before the age of 21 years of age and have resided in Venezuela, uninterrupted, for the 5 years preceding the request. "

3. Copy of the Official Gazette or naturalization certificate stating the respective act of naturalization of a parent, parent, or both.
4. Proof of address.
5. Media lawful life (Proof of Labor or Register)
6. Passport and visa for the child.
7. Copy of identity card Identity (a) parent (s) Venezuelan (a) through naturalization.
8. Fiscal stamps canceled according to the Tax Unit caused at the time of application. Article 33
Numeral 3 ยบ Over 18 Years and Under 21. Requirements:
1. Personally submit notarized declaration of intent to any of Identification and Immigration Office. . Model Declaration of Intent is downloaded from the website of the Onidex.
2. Birth certificate apostille or legalized by the Venezuelan Consulate abroad, or in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
3. Copy of the Official Gazette or the Certificate of Naturalization in which indicating the respective parent's naturalization ceremony or Proof of address. • Venezuelan parent (a) through naturalization.
4. Lawful means of life (Proof of Labor or Register).
5. Passport and visa.
6. Copy of identity card of the (a) parent (s) Venezuelan (a) through naturalization.
7. Fiscal stamps canceled according to the Tax Unit caused at the time of application.
